this might not be related to the omc category but is related to this thread sorta lol .... would you also be able to reproduce in aluminum or stainless the drive sprockets for  the old 70's raiders .... ive got a project in mind and if the engine swap goes good and works im afraid the plastic sprockets wont hold up lolive got a parts sled i could pull one or both off for a pattern if needed .. jeff

Actually they were aluminum in the early 70's machines, aluminum works just fine. Once greeno gets em' machined, we'll all be laughing!

The CAD model is done.  PM me if you want to try and machine it yourself.  Otherwise, I'll let everyone know when the prototype is ready.

how long did it take ya to do the cad model ..... ive got a cad program but as of yet i cant even do a 3-d box lol course i havnt messed with it much ..... im waitting till i hit the lotto and get me a 3-d scanner and printer lol then ill be all set for rescaeling some of my models in scales they not available in lol
but the scanner shoul produce good quality 3-d images and such for this kinda of application but never seen it done so dont know
