EVENING,
PICKED UP A 1977 SNO-JET/KAWASAKI 440 IN A LOT TRADE RECENTLY. NOT WELL VERSED ON THESE MACHINES BUT I THINK IT HAS THE YAMAHA EXCITER MOTOR IN IT. IS THAT A FACTORY THING?
DECENT LOOKING SLED BUT I'M CLUELESS ON THESE.
ANY HISTORY ALONG THESE LINES WOULD HELP.

I also own a 77 440 SST.  Yes it is a Yamaha engine which is factory.  You can find manuals on-line on eBay or a generic one can be found at http://s15106.50belowcommerce.com/productdetail.htm?productId=10498968&browse=25....
